“We work together to care for all those in trouble, sorrow, need, sickness, or any other adversity”
We care for all in our church, our community and our world so that ‘we who are many and diverse, can come together in Christ through our worship, our common prayer’ (www.episcopalchurch.org).
Prayer is central to our relationship with God. At St Michael’s we have many ministries where we can care for each other through prayer (click here)
Pastoral Care is the ministry of us all, both clergy and laity.
Going through a tough time? You are invited to receive Pastoral Care through Stephen Ministry: If you are experiencing difficulties–illness, loneliness, troubled relationships, financial setback, or losses due to death, divorce, or aging–our Stephen Ministers are prepared to bring God’s love and warmth to you with confidential, one-to-one Christian care. Please contact one of our clergy, the Rev. Robby Vickery or the Rev. Brin Bon, who will put you in touch with one of our lay leaders Julie de Wette, Michael Donegan, or Liz Wyckoff to help you get connected with Stephen Ministry.
