“The Edge”
Day 2 – Ships, Sailors, Oh My
It has been another wonderful day in Corpus Christi! The youth group worked really hard at two different sites today. In the morning they set up VBC at Cliff Maus village and had a fun time getting to know the kids that came. During VBC both youth groups taught the other group their favorite game. St. Michael’s learned this new game called Ships and Sailors, and boy was it fun! In the afternoon we went to Mission 911 where the youth spent many hours scrapping and painting one of their buildings. All in all it was a long, but wonderful day!
Mission Trip – Day 1
The youth group, Father Robby, Mary Allen Smith, and I all made it to Port Aransas! It was a very easy drive, with no big problems or road blocks. Check out some pictures we posted on our tumblr page. Can’t wait for tomorrow!!! http://raisethesails2011.tumblr.com/
The youth are getting ready to leave St. Michael’s in the large white 15 passenger vans.

Spring Break Begins Friday!
I hope everyone is excited about Spring Break 2011! It is hard to believe that it is Lent and that spring is right around the corner. I realize that many of you all are going to be out of town for Spring Break, but if you are in town please let me know because I would love to meet you all for a snow cone from Snow Beach. This coming Sunday night there will be no youth group during the regular 5-7 time frame. Instead we are going to go to see a movie at the Barton Creek Mall on Sunday afternoon. As soon as I know the movie and time of the showing I will let you all know. Hope to see you all Sunday afternoon!
