Adults
SUNDAY MORNING ADULT CLASSES meet from 10:10 to 10:55 a.m. in various locations — you are welcome to join any of these classes on any Sunday — we’ll help catch you up if it’s an on-going series.
1. Introduction to St. Michael’s — This 4-week series of classes meets in the Newcomer Cafe (aka the Cry Room or Parlor) with the Rev. Robby Vickery. Grab a cup of coffee in the entryway and then join Robby for basic information about church and faith and how we do things at St. Michael’s. Our topics are ”Who we are,” “What we believe,” ”How we worship,” and “What we do.” The class may be joined at any time.
2. The Christian Education and Formation Forum meets with the Rev. Janne Alro Osborne in the Parish Hall. Our current study is a survey of the Bible, using a Kerygma curriculum titled “Discovering the Bible: A New Generation”. We meet most Sundays — contact Janne for information.
3. Sunday Book Study — Phyllis Blees facilitates a book study class which meets around the large table in the administrative office. The book selection for the fall is The Soul’s Code by James Hillman. This new study will begin in September. The book is available in class. Please join us any Sunday. For more information, contact Phyllis.
