Adult Sunday School
Sunday morning classes for adults meet from 10:10 to 10:55 a.m. in various locations — please join any Sunday. If we’re in an on-going class, we’ll be glad to catch you up!
1. Introduction to St. Michael’s – This 4-week series of classes meets in the Newcomer Cafe with the Rev. Robby Vickery – grab a cup of coffee in the entryway and then join Robby for basic information about church and faith, how we do things at St. Michael’s. Our topics are ”Who we are” ; “What we believe”; ”How we worship”; ”What we do”. The class may be joined at any time. Delicious, fresh baked, cookies are served! Contact the Rev. Robby Vickery for information.
2. Sunday Morning Bible Study meets with the Rev. Janne Alro Osborne. Our curriculum is a 30-session Bible survey course “Discovering the Bible: A New Generation”. Each session consists of presentations, discussion, small group activities and shared insights. We meet Sunday mornings in the Parish Hall and each session repeats Monday evening in Room #8. (Note: we do not meet on Taco Sunday and some other Sundays – class members receive weekly e-mail reminders.) You are welcome to join this class “in progress” - simply contact the Rev. Janne Alro Osborne for information.
3. Sunday Book Study – Phyllis Blees facilitates a book study class which meets around the large table in the administrative office. We are currently reading The Soul’s Code by James Hillman. The book is available in class. You may contact Phyllis Blees for more information.
Activities for children (Click Here) and for Youth (Click Here) are also available during Adult Education time.
