We are called to nurture our children at the beginning of their spiritual journey. We do this at St Michael’s by guiding their growing faith with bible stories, prayer, play and love.
Sunday Morning Programs
Children’s Sunday School
Conducted during the 10am service. Parents bring their children to the education wing at the beginning of the service and when their programs are finished, the children are brought back to the worship space in time for Eucharist with their families. Children are always welcome at St Michael’s and can stay for the whole worship service if they would like to.
Preschool – Sunday school classes are for children age 3 years to Pre-Kindergarten. Parent volunteers play music, share stories and help the children with related craft activities.
Come and hang out with your friends and enjoy some social time and breakfast before church. Meets at 9am in room 8 and is for all our students and children. Adult education programs are available in the Parish Hall at this time
Children’s Music Program for K through 5th grade
Brenda Simms, one of our parishioners and a member of the choir, leads our children’s music program. Our singers meet on Sundays at 9am, before the service, in the Education Wing to learn new songs and practice lifting their voices to the Lord. If you have any questions, please contact Brenda (email@example.com). Children are welcome to join at any time.
Our nurseries are staffed by trained nannies who have undergone the Diocesan Safeguarding God’s Children program and provide a safe, warm, loving environment for the children entrusted to our care. Nursery time includes free play, bible stories, coloring pages, outside play, snacks, and games and is available for infants through 3 years old from 9am to 12:15pm
