Funerals

Please contact one of our clergy when someone has died. We are available to pray with you, be present with you and your family during a very difficult time.

If you are planning a local funeral we can help you arrange the appropriate burial service for your loved one at St. Michael’s Episcopal Church.

A Prayer for Those who Mourn:

Most merciful God, whose wisdom is beyond our understanding: deal graciously with ____ in their grief.  Surround them with your love, that they may not be overwhelmed by their loss, but have confidence in your goodness, and strength to meet the days to come; through Jesus Christ our Lord.  Amen.  (from Book of Common Prayer, p. 494)
