St. Michael’s Blended Music Team

St. Michael’s is blessed to provide an eclectic mix of worship styles in the Sunday morning worship schedule. The 9:00 service represents a “Blended” style of worship by providing a variety of musical styles (traditional hymnody, contemporary Praise & Worship, instrumental, etc.). On any given Sunday, you may hear a traditional English hymn with vocals and piano, followed by a contemporary Praise and Worship piece with vocal line, piano, drums, and flute. We strive, as a music team, to provide an “ever widening” style of musical presentation that complements the liturgy and lifts the heart to worship.

The “Blended Worship” team meets for rehearsals on Wednesday nights from 6:15 p.m. to 7:45 p.m. and on Sunday mornings from 8:00 a.m. to 8:30 a.m. followed by a sound check. The team ministers each Sunday morning in the 9:00 a.m. Worship Service.
