Grace to Grow: A Vision for St. Michael’s Next Faithful Step

Grace to Grow is about making room for God’s mission at St. Michael’s. We’re growing—in attendance, in spiritual depth, and in our impact on the community—but our current facilities are stretched to their limits. Over time, that limits our ability to welcome, teach, and serve in the ways God is calling us to.

This campaign will fund a new 10,000-square-foot building with youth and adult education spaces, offices, and a new choir room. It will also allow us to renovate and expand our sanctuary, make modest parish hall updates, and give our day school room to welcome more children and families into a nurturing, faith-filled environment.

“Generosity is grounded in gratitude, revealed through prayer, and lived in faith.”
— Fr. John Newton

Watch this short video from Fr. John and Hilary Bellm. They capture the heart of the Grace to Grow vision—why this matters now and how it will equip us to welcome, teach, and serve in new ways for decades to come.

Faith-filled Enhancements

More Space for Ministry
At the heart of our vision is the construction of a new community building—one designed to support the continued growth, health, and vitality of St. Michael’s for years to come. This new space will provide the physical foundation for deeper formation, stronger connections, and expanded outreach.

Expanding Our Sanctuary
An integral part of this next phase is the expansion of the sanctuary. By removing the back wall, we can increase seating capacity and make room for more worshipers. This expansion will honor the original architectural vision while preserving the beauty, acoustics, and spiritual intimacy of our worship space.

Enhancing Hospitality
Modest renovations to the Parish Hall are also planned, enhancing both hospitality and functionality. These upgrades will allow the space to better serve parish events, fellowship gatherings, and community use, further extending the warmth and welcome of
St. Michael’s.

“From humble beginnings to a thriving parish, the story of St. Michael’s has always been about growth
—rooted in grace, led by faith, and made possible by the generosity of those who came before us.
Now it’s our turn. Come join us in making space for what God will do next.”
— Fr. John Newton
